oxygen sensor locations ??
does anyone know where the oxygen sensors are located on a 1988 4cyl. audi 80? also where are they located on a 1991 5cyl. audi 80? I plan on swapping them from the 91' to the 88'.

If it is similar to a 1990 4-cylinder it is on the top front of the catalytic converter. Kind of a pain to get at unless the car is in the air. I would assume that a 5-cylinder O2 sensor would be in the same place.

i agree to what ddillas said. the oxygen sensor always located in the downpipe before catalytic converter or in the exhaust system close to the engine.
