I just got a 95 audi 90 quattro sport. I want to do it's timing belt, water pump and all the other parts associated with this job. I buy my parts at rockauto.com. For my model they have three engine types 2.8L 2771cc V6 FI (A) [AFC] , 2.8L 2771cc V6 FI (E) [AFC] , and 2.8L 2771cc V6 FI (K) [AFC]. How do I I know where I fit in? Also for the timing belt kits they have it for two vin types: VIN 8CS025820 & Before and VIN 8CS025821 & After. My VIN is WAUCK88C8SA001122, which is very different from what they have. Can anyone help me sort this out?

Ok first of all get rid of Rockauto.com for your parts for that beauty. Get on autohausaz.com They will be able to verify exactly what you need with no guess work. Good luck!

Next, go to 12v.org and the tech section on audiworld and look over this job. You will need specialty tools. Blauparts.com is also good and you can call them and speak to a knowledgeable person. Get a bentleys manual (CD) for a $100 for all the specs etc. Good luck
