inevitable out any longer. I will miss Jade, but it's time to move on. I really wanted a quattro and a car that I can tune, so the S4/A4 were my choices. While I like the S4 better, it's just not worth the extra $$ at this time in my life.
I will definitely continue to stop by the 90 forum to answer questions.
Thanks everyone for all your help with maintaining my 90. I really do appreciate it.
Good luck to all!

First impressions:
- quattro--wow! I knew I needed it.
- suspensions are competely different, which makes the handling of the A4 a much better performer. After the 1k mile break-in, I did a 90 mile run with it along side some tuned A4/S4/Avants and was able to keep up easily (PIC above of Audis). Everyone after the drive was extremely impressed with the new changes of the 1.8t to 170 hp over the old 150 hp, which there are rumors that it's really the 180 hp from the TT. The rear anti-sway bar is killer. I could've used that on the 90. I think that's what makes the cars different the most. Since mine was front-wheel drive, my rear suspensions wasn't much to talk about; extremely cushy and family car ride. I remember when I picked up some stones and bricks for a small project and my trunk was fairly loaded, and it was then that it handled the best. Although, i was slow as hell, but the rear stayed down in turns. The 17" wheels help as well with handling. I can take turns a lot smoother and quicker now.
- negatively, the top end speed and performace is lacking. Last night, I took the 90 to a mechanic for the new buyers to look the car over. During the drive there, I noticed how I could pull 3rd & 4th much better than in the A4. The gear ratios seem a bit off, which is obvious with the 4 cyl. vs. V6. I plan on doing some performance changes after 5k miles, so that'll change soon for the better with the A4.
- Also, it is a pain in the butt slowing down the last few minutes/miles to cool the turbo back down and the same for starting out--waiting for oil temps. to get up, which I did with the 90, but not like you have to with having a turbo. It's more work, but worth it.
The only other thing is that it's really wierd looking down and seeing only 4 digits on the odometer when I was used to seeing at least 5 and then 6 for so long.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd make the same choice.

... my impression of the 1.8T was also that it lacked top-end performance, but I have not driven one of the new 170hp models... and their tuning potential is enormous. Glad you like your new ride, I'm waiting the year or two until I get out of college and get a "real job" to get a new Audi (or maybe a VW if they bring 4motion over in the GTIs/Jettas by then)...
