Default This is a picture of my Under-Dash relay pannel

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/70023/dsc00015.jpg"></center><p>It is located just under the steering wheel on my 93 90 FWD 2.8 V6.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which of these relays has anything to do with my rad fan?
There is 1 more relay that is not in this picture, it is just above the one with the 287 on it and it has the numbers 217 on it.

Default to reply to this post and your previous one.....

your radiator fan relay is under the hood....top row....second from the left. Its written on the lid of the fuse box, very clearly.....=). If its empty, i highly suggest getting one.

Default What do the numbers on the relay say(under the hood..top row....second from the left) in your car??

This way I can see if I have one??

there has NEVER been a relay in that spot and my fan just started to stay on all the time?? It worked fine for like 2 years without that relay.

Can you please check your car and tell me if you have a relay there and if so what numbers are on it. Thank you

Default 287 is your power winders, and sunroof relay.

The section you removed to get to that relay panel should have a sticker on it, listing the relays?

As do your fuse box, under the hood.

Default I pulled out that 217 relay and the fan still stays on.

I have many relays that are just like it with the exception of the fact that tha 217 relay is a 70 amp fuse, all my other relays that have the same wireing diageam on them are 40 amp.

Is there a way I can test this relay (217) when I remove it??

i remember someone told me a way to test relays, but i have frogot.
