Default Problems bleeding clutch...read that I need a pressure bleeder, that true?

I tried bleeding my clutch system the other day and could get no pressure to bleed it, so I ordered a master cylinder. Then I read that night that I needed a pressure bleeder to complete the procedure. Anyone know anything about this, who has done theres here??
