Is your clutch pedal feeling weird, not returning to full height all the time?
There is a nice long spring inside the clutch MC... and rather than using a shorter stiffer spring, Audi used a longer softer spring... which over time becomes stressed because it's being compressed so much... and breaks... into several pieces.
I've got my clutch MC sitting on the bench, torn apart, with a bunch of pieces of spring istead of one nice spring.
Pics to follow in a day or two.

I pulled the Cab out of storage the other day to start it up and take it for a quick spin when I noticed my clutch acting funny. My sweet spot was in the same place but the pedal wouldn't fully return .
What do you plan on replacing the stock spring with ?
