Hey guys. I finally figured out which pulley is giving me all the noise! It's the one next to the alternator pulley. The center pulley when looking at it from the front of the car. When the engine is warmed up and especially when the engine fan is kicked on that pulley squeals like crazy! I grabbed ahold of the pulley (with the engine off lol) and it doesn't feel loose. And all the belts feel pretty tight. Here's a couple pics of the pulley. Thanks for any help!!!!!

that is the main harmonic balancer, i don't think it would be squealing, but rather the belts... i bet it is your alternator belt so try tightening that up.

I revved it and put my head down there and it was screaming! SUPER loud! The alternator belt is pretty new so I wasn't thinking that was the problem. The tension feels good too. How much play should there be in the belts? Thanks for the help!

But really, go get another belt and make sure the tension is correct. If that pulley itself was squeeling you would see some kind of movement or play.

Whether you think it is or not, thats up to you, but as Hybrid_Hatch said..the belt is the main noise maker.
This is what I would do:
-Replace the belt (you said you already did, make sure its not a dud).
-Tight the pulley up
-Use some belt dressing spray.
Problem solved.

You have a toothed belt on your alternator, and that usually means someone has put on an american style v-belt. The Audi factory belts have no teeth.
The V-angle on your typical replacement belts (napa, etc) is different then the V-angle on a proper metric belt. So even with the correct tension, they can start to squeal. The squealing is the belt slipping.
Proper tension is 2.0mm of deflection with a new belt, 5.0mm with a used belt.

What about the other belt that goes around the center pulley? That one is pretty old looking. I'm going to dress all the belts but if that doesn't do the trick I'm trying to get all the info I can. Thanks guys! I'm off to eat some turkey. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
