QCRAZY, are the instructions for reading code on 12v.org the the same as to read them on a 88 90 Q?

Read the other threads fool. Take out IC to put in check-engine light bulb.

Isk I am in Canada like you but I have a Boston car, and I am sure I read that all '88 American cars have the buld already installed (mine did), but ONLY Cali cars store codes... but of course I could be wrong... or drunk.

It is unnecessary, you just need bare wire.

I have an '88 and there was no bulb. The OEM tape was over the socket. Fool.
