Question for Gamma radio owners

I have a '93 100, but I thought some of you Gamma comrades might be able to help with a question. I've searched past posts and not found much on it; The manual had a clue but was too vague.
I believe the small red anti-theft LED on my non-Bose Gamma radio might not be working correctly, it blinks even when the engine is running (as long as the radio is off), and when the engine is off but the key is in the ignition (radio off).
Does your Gamma light blink when your ignition is on (and radio is off)?
Does it blink when the ignition is off but your key is in the ignition (radio off)?
I tried another Gamma and it did the same blinking. The wiring diagram shows a wire to the ignition switch, so I think there should be more of a connection.
Thanks,
Marcus Corbin

I have a gamma in a CQ that exhibits the behavior you describe (newer radio, older car). My gamma in my 93 90s did not blink when the key was on...
So something in the wiring harness changed.
I had the CQ gamma out the other night, and there are no other connectors, other than the existing plugs... so it's something different in the way the power is wired.. I think!
