i'm the one with the wiring troubles in the trunk affecting the dash, and well i fixed it! yay!, but theres still one wire that i havent patched, and thats this tiny little black one that barely even seems like a wire at all... it would be greatly appreciated if anybody knew what that particular wire was, its the only black wire under the sheathing next to the scissor arm in the trunk... thanks alot

That black, what you believe to be a wire, is not a wire, but a leader they used to guide the other wires into the tubing when first installed.
