Re: Let me put it this way....
I need to know if alignment will be a problem on FWD as cars with quattro need a custom camber plates (most times) to achive the correct alignment. Do I need a new camber plates?

Huh? We need custom camber plates? Not really, unless you go reaaaaallly low or a lot higher than factory.
I'm at around -1.5" to -2.0" F/R, and can get the car to factory spec on a machine, but I prefer a smaller older guy to align it by hand/calibrated-****. The car felt niiiiice after Lee aligned it ("yeah, I got it close, I think you'll like it").

when the ball joint is getting replaced
the holes the bolts go through is oval, so there is room to "slide" it.
also fwd cars only has front independent suspension and a giant bar in the back.
dropping a quattro needs a 4 wheel alignment and camber adjustment.
dropping a 2wd only needs front alignment and camber, rears are solid.
