Ever since it started to get chilly here in Cleveland, Ive noticed that my cars cabin is really cold even when driving. The engine runs really cool in the winter and a little warmer than last year in the summer. I'm wondering if my thermostat might be on the way out. It gets warm inside at idle and been sitting a while. But when shes moving on the highway... forget it . Its like driving an iceberg. I dont think its the heater core because she does get warm at idle.

you can at least put a piece of cardboard over the aux radiator, or over PART of the main radiator in the winter. But it's best to get that T-stat replaced STAT. heheh

you might want to go with the 90 degree thermostat for the winter, and switch out the fan switch while your at it. That should increase operating temperature enough to keep you cabin warm.

car never seems to heat up above the first thick mark in the winter. When driving on the highway with the heat on the needle barely moves to 1/5 of the whole range. I dont know anymore. The only solution for me is to cover part of the main rad.
