Really tough Gaskets

man, I pried and rubber malleted the intake manifold until my wrists hurt. I am definitely sure there are no bolts I missed.
Any suggestions?
Right now I have some commercial solvent toothbrushed into the seams, hopefully this works.

They could be rusted. i don't think penetrating oil or heat will help get them out. You may want to try to jar it free by tapping the IM around all sides with moderate force. With a few taps of the hammer it became loose enough to get it lifted up. Before you remove it completely make sure to remove the EGR temp sensor at the back of the IM. It's wire is very thin with little slack.

and the solvent will only leak down into the head portion of the pin. Here's a pic of when i first removed my passenger side head, you can see the 2 rusty pins inbetween the intake ports.

The head is upside down from what your working with, but hopefully it gives you an idea of where you need to focus your efforts.

this morning, the seams look damn clean, and I seemed to remove alot of the edge of the gasket with my razer at the front. but still not making any progress on the back and the sides, because their is no angle to work with the razor safely.
Thanks for the pics, I guess I should remove the fuel injectors, otherwise, I have no way to give that area a good knocking. I am afraid I might crack the manifold. I guess I am thinking that if this don't work maybe I can remove the lower and upper manifold together, and try doing something with them both outside the engine.

They can't be seperated while still on the car. There are a few bolts (4 if i remember correctly) at the bottom of the IM that hold the upper IM to the lower IM. And the gaskets aren't your problem, a few whacks with the mallet would loosen the IM from the gaskets, it's most likely those pins still. Make sure you replace the injector seals and IM to head gaskets when your done.
