Default err, last question! after looking through the 20v.org archive...

which direction should the mount bolt offset be facing?

towards the rear bumper or towards the tranny??

does it make any difference?

Default thanks, but I'll have to pass...

...but if you could tell me which direction the bolt mount is facing in it, that'd be great!

perhaps the mount you recieved was not the "D" (aka 64.4mm) one?

Default Not the size of the mount, it's the type of mount. Compare the OE one and the rabbit engine mount..

You'll know what i'm talking about.

If it works for you, all the power to you.

Default The Rabbit engine mount is the same bit used for the 4kq. Other 20v'ers have used the 214D mount

Including a mechanic that works on Audi's for a living.

The 4kq uses the "same" rear subframe as the B3's, same side mounts, same rear diff case, etc.

The 214D part has an "eccentric" center bolt hole, as does the factory all-in-one mount.

I fail to see why it wouldn't work. Why don't you enlighten us?
