Now a question:
- Where do you place your jack stands when raising the car?
I always support the car on the subframes, but it makes it rather difficult to remove them when the car is resting on em...
I ended up pulling the transmission first, and then the engine afterwards.

If I know its gonna sit on the stand I jack it under the subframe and place a jack stands in the spot where you would jack originally. If just doing something on one corner I just jack it and put a stand or my wheel underneath the frame rail going along the bottom and let it rest on jack.
