I am thinking of going for the 16" ones. Are these quality wheels or too soft and poor quality?

They are good wheels, but the 16s are clsoe to the 17's in price. You should just go with 17's :-)

I've heard that the RS4 replica wheels are actually stronger than the OEMs. I've heard it over and over and over, and that doesn't make it *true* per se, but makes it more likely to me true.

Hartmann/Achtuning

You will get diferent strenghths from different alloy contents. Some Alloys come out of the mould easier but the downside they may be softer. Some may produce a rougher casting but are stronger. Our foundry cast firstline wheels for many European companies. Keep in mind any wheel will bend if you hit it hard enough.We have seen no issues like we see with offshore castings.
