Mmmk. So I set out to make a fancy new signature, little did I know how large animated GIF files can actually be.

You can just click it as normal, but your "experience" will be better if you download, then view it.

I won't be using this as a signature, 3.5 megs wouldn't be too friendly :-D.

but you could do something like that in a much smaller size using an flv.
