Default Rims for 94 90CS Q?

The stock rims on my new 94 90 CS Quattro are in pretty ratty shape. Are there aftermarket rims available in the correct offset, or does anyone have a nice set of stock 5-spoke Audi rims that will fit this car?

Alternatively, can they be refinished? They seem to have a lined finish on them that I've never encountered before, but they are also somewhat pitted and scraped. I've refinished Porsche rims by having them bead blasted and then painting them with Wurth silver, but I can't tell what this finish is. It looks almost silkscreened on.

Thanks!

Default Try this...

I have the same problem, and am going to give this a try.

There is a plastic coating on top of the paint it seems. Is this not clearcoat?

Where can i get 'Wurth silver'?
I have the 5-spoke wheels aswell.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/667385.phtml</a

go to tire rack, select the year and model of your car, and you will be presented with a picture of your car with the ability to see what it would look like with all the different wheels..

tire rack

Larry Reynolds at Car Care Online sells Wurth stuff; his link is below.

Yes, there's a clear; I've done three light coats of silver followed by two light coats of clear for nice results.

Car Care Online

Default best wheels for this car if you ask me...

the type T 17" wheels look too odd.. the other wheels all look very aftermarket.. these 16" T's just "fit"

The only people that realize these wheels arent stock are the people who either know the car, or saw the car before I switched wheels..

I love it..

In my opinion, they do indeed bend very easy! I bent 3 in one day at a road construction site.

The BBS's on my 90 however, are a much more sturdy wheel! They have been subject to a few pot-holes, & have survived without bending. Pot-holes I know would of bent one of the Borbets!

Default Ive been on them for six months, through construction sites...

Dirt roads, Off road (on a farm through tall grass), and I havent had a single problem yet.. They are heavy wheels and of good construction if you ask me..
