Default striped threads?

those adjustment screws usually rust easily and they might have been damaged. If the screw turns easily, chances are the threads are striped.

Default not sure... I never crossed that bridge on my own car...

but I'd suggest checking before you try to find out how to fix them... your problem might be completely different.

Default so far

i havent found anything on fixing them in my search but i did find that there is an adjustment for the low beam and the high beam?

i didnt know that you can adjust the high beam independly (sp?) from the low beams?

i see there are 2 adjuster screws. the outter screw (close to the fenders) are for the height adjustment and the inner screw are for the side to side adjustment correct?

Default Re: so far

that's usually how it is. I just bought my Audi recently so I don't have much knowledge on it, but most cars work that way.

Default Correct. The two srews are for up/down and left/right.

The high and low thing is wrong info.

I can tell you that I had a similar question and found that the up/down screw (the one on the outside part of the headlights, IIRC)is reaaaally slow to adjust the height. You just have to spin it a bunch.
