This weekend i'm gona install a couple 12's in my car, and wanted to know what's involved in getting the power wire through the firewall? Do you have do drill a hole, or are there existing holes? Is it really hard to get through there?

On the drivers side firewall...may take a little time to find it, but there is a rubber stopper in there that you can take out and slide the wires through.

I ran a 2 or 4 guage ? not sure which, but about as wide as your index finger, worth of wire from the battery along the driver side of the car, through a hole drilled in my firewall and pulled through the driver foot space area.. then under that trim.. do not have any RCA's crossing or within 1 foot of the power wire or you'll have alternator whine all day long.
It's also a good idea to set up a power distribution box in the rear deck for added appliances

just a rubber gasket with nothing going through it. take the gasket off or else cut a hole in it and run the power wire through it if you want to maintain a seal.
