Default Re: Cabrio Bumper on ebay...

That is not an S2 or RS2 bumper, looks like a '99-00 cabrio bumper to me.

Default Cabriolet bumper for sure, damaged and the price climbs, don't see pics of mounting parts either...

and the Cabriolet bumper doesn't actually use official Porsche fogs, they are an Audi part only, but similar enough.

Cheers,

Default Well you could buy it and really find out what it is then I guess?!

I am wary of people who sell parts and don't even know what they are, especially when proper packages that include all needed hardware are over 30-45 individual parts, some of which may not be listed blatantly, or at all, in parts fiches and programs. So buyer beware, but if the itch is there, scratch it!

Cheers,

Default The person selling this bumper is....

Tom Saltino of northern Atlanta. He's also the president of the SE Quattro Club. He's in cahoots with Wotan AG, the same company that's screwed me and several other shops here in the US.

The cab bumper that he is selling was the one that I ordered over 11 months ago but was never sent to me as Wotan couldn't get their act together.

No problems with Tom Saltino, he's a good guy in my book.

Default latest audi 80 cabriolet bumper

this is the one.
from the looks it seems to be ok,the minor scratch can be easily fixed after the bumper is painted, the fogs and flash lights seem OEM and in good condition.I would say this is a nice aftermarket equipment, though toooooo expensive(here in greece the new real s2 bumper costs around 660 euros, along with fogs, corner lights, mounts and everything directly from germany),
so as far as a deal is conserned i would say that this is a rip off!!!
other than that, its a nice bumper,i still prefer more the s2 though
