if you don't use silicone tubing you still need some type of layered/wrapped/insulated tubing or intake temps will soar.
All of this has been covered seven ways to Sunday at 12V Development recently and excessivly as to what silicone and elbows to use related to degree tightness in elbow radii and wall thickness for tubing as clearnce between TB and firewall is a HUGE issue. Buy the wrong stuff and it's unuseable. But I only sell the inline components and none of the tubing.
