To give you some Idea I had an exident it was $1500 and car just went for a paint job $1500 dollars.
That doesnt include another $3000 in part replacements, you can count your self being lucky!

At least your car runs right (or doesn't it?). I'v only had mine since end of march 2003 1990 Audi 80 AT 2.0 sedan. I do not belive I am done yet cause it is still running badly. Some day I will be able to spent some money on some mods and a stero system. If I wrecked my car, that would be the end of it. I would sell it for parts, then try to buy another.
