Sagging headliner cloth solution.
I used 3m General Trim Adhesive-clear N.08088, as recommended by a body shop supply store. It is a spray adhesive that cost $12.95. It has worked so far I'll update if it falls back down.

I actuall ripped the cardboard backing out!
I was able to remove the entire backing out to replace the material. The foam was disintergrating and I was breathing it in.I went out and got new headliner and 3M Super 90. I used a small foam paint roller to work the cloth down after spraying both surfaces. You might want to let the spray sit afew moments to get tacky. I did this completely out of the car to manipulate evrything better. After you are done with that call your local upholstery shop and have them do it. Honestly it doesn't look too bad.. except for the fact that the board sags a little from where I seperated it from the glue that adheres it to the sunroof housing... and you will probably have to replace your sunroof as well since I put my head through mine while it was closed and broke both guides, misaligned it, and eventually later actually bent the outside lid. Does any body know of a factory part for the cardboard backing,or whole headliner????

Re: Sagging headliner cloth solution.
also if you know of a good used part place, you can see if you can get a complete 93-95 headliner which is a no-sag liner. We'll be pulling another 90 apart in the next 2 weeks, if you pull it out, it's yours.

The cardboard backing is actually chopped strand fiberglass. If you didn't already completely break your headliner you can pull it out in one piece. You can then lightly hand sand it to take the orange glue. When you have that done you can glue the new headliner in easily since it isn't in the car when you are doing it.
