Default Searched, but didnt find much... Best way to buy a CQ?

Forgive me if this is in violation of any kind of policy...

I want to buy a CQ, and was wondering how you all went about finding one, and what your experiences were? Because I am in NorCal, they are never around for sale, so I have thought about buying one and having it shipped, but that means either buy it blind or fly somewhere far away...

Any suggestions?

Default I would fly out to get it myself if I was buying one.

Check all the auto websiets, autotrader, craigslist, cars.com, maybe even carsoup.com. Decent coupes can be bought for around 5 grand these days.

Ive read 20v.org many times, but I was just wondering what you would consider "decent" ?

Never buy a car without driving it first.

decent means it's not damaged and it's had all maintenance done and recorded.

Default I bought mine off of Ebay. Had a friend who lived close go check it out and pick it up...

Then I flew down a few weeks later to pick it up and fly back. If you are serious about buying a particular car, you could always try asking here if anyone is local and would mind going and checking it out. I know I would be willing to look at one if there was one local.

And be sure you are looking at all national sources at least once a week. I was checking ebay/20v/autotrader/audifans/karquattro/large regional papers/cars/cl/and of course..... AW.

good luck

Default Personally, I think this is one of the best CQ's for sale right now....

Ok, maybe not becayse of the 200k+ miles, but good candidate for a swap? Oh, and I probably wouldn't buy a car with grey leather either, but some people don't mind.... In my <5 minute search the closest I could find was San Antonio and Portland. You probably don't want to go to the midwest or East Coast so... This Lago one is in Portland. Seems pretty legit, decent price. But could probably go lower...

Or if it was well kept, maybe this one in Michigan:

Default Yeah, i saw both of the those. The portland one isnt all that far, but the miles are bit high

Im looking for one that I could drive stock for a year or two, then look toward a swap.

Trying to keep some miles off the A4

Default I see that white one

on that other site didn't sell. Reserve not met at somewhere around $4300+..

I thought it would go for somewhere around where the bidding ended, but I guess he wants more.
