Just tried to install my old 80-90 Benltey cd on my laptop and it will not install! Running xp pro on a dell latitude. 2.1g/512mb and I get no response. I did remove the program from my desktop and re-installed it with no problems.
Any secrets?

Skolnick.
He's BTDT on the urS Bentley. He ended up stripping off SP2 IIRC. He was planning to try and isolate the patch that caused the issue, but I'm not sure if he got anywhere.

Which is XP Pro, SP2 and I have no issues.
The trick is to install Netscape(Yeah, I know it sucks a$$ but it works)...you can install it from the Bently CD, when you want to use the manual, you close all IE windows, open Netscape, minimize Netscape, then open the Bentley Program...After Bentley is going, you can then open IE or Firefox and surf the net while the manual is open.
