Default Now find it in a "GatorBack" series. Supposed to be super quiet and long-life...

supposedly the only serp used in NASCAR. Not that I give a hoot about NASCAR but it sends a helluva message as they are deader in the water than we are without a serp as their waterpumps are serp-driven. Supposedly half the noise and twice the life of any serp belt on the market.

FYI: SAE size would be a 25 (width) x 64"

Dont ask me why a 25 as it's a 27/32" (21mm) and some people think the metric system is confusing!?!

Default Same number. 4060642.

Or 642K6 in Dayco or Kelly. 64.2 inches. I can check tomorrow to see if it's a regular stock item at Zone if you want.

Default I was looking for an 4060640 but 2/10 of an inch longer doesnt scare me off...

I'd take one from ANYWHERE tho over the years I have tried all the usual suspects, ie; Pep Boys, Zone, National, NAPA, Checker ad infinitum. If you can source one anywhere I'll be on the phone to them, credit card in-hand so fast heads will spin. Hell, I may even order 2 if they're gonna take 3 years to find replacements for.

Been over a year since my last search for one and it may be time to go looking again. Did find several Google listings mentioning availability at Auto Zone so I'll hit up one or two of them later this morning. Also found the below link with a picture so at least I know it does exist

Even lists it's metric equivalent size; PK6-1630<ul><li><a href="http://www.3800performance.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&amp;Store_Code=3800P&amp;P roduct_Code=GATORBACKS">Gatorback belt for bypassing AC</a></li></ul>
