Default Side mirror replacement lenses

anyone know where these can be found. I ran into them a while back but can't seem to find 'em again. I remember they were like $90 a pop. I need to replace my driver's side at least. The rust has tkaen over 1/2 if not more of that mirror. Its bad.

Default ok I think I answered my own question

did a quick google search just right now. Called the company and they quoted me $84 including shipping for both DRV and PSNG side mirror assemblies. Anyone do this with this company?

This company for mirrors

Default Re: Seems like I saw that acrylic mirrors were front surface, non-tinted. Has anyone bought these

and found out?

Acrylic will scratch, but it's hard to beat the price difference. I also believe they are "adhesive" = they stick onto the existing glass, not fasten in as replacements. The mirror heater would not be very functional.

If you don't want/need the tinted blue glass and mirror heat, then maybe it would be OK.

Acrylic = 18 each + shipping
Glass = 31 each + shipping

Default CV, are you saying the mirror glass itself is loosing it's silver backing or....

the entire mirror assembly is rusting. If it's only the mirror glass, get it from the dealer. I think it's cheaper from the dealer and it's tinted. Just did my ladies last year. Very easy to do. Did mine 2 years ago.

Default yeah its just the mirror glass.

but when I called the dealer they said they only have the entire assembly for like $140 a piece. I think, that was like 2 years ago too. Yeah my glass has a rusty color wave coming up from the bottom. The driver's side is worse than the passenger's. How much did you pay for the glass from the dealer?
