the B3 style is a little different around the stalk I think...I'm either going to do the brass contact paper, or buy a Euro cover. If I get the Euro cover, my current cover is yours!

There is more than just warming the oil sump and defrosting the windows. A variety of problems occur when the temp gets down to -30 or-40 for a couple weeks.
Folks that park overnight in a heated garage have problems with plastic parts that shrink rapidly causing cracks and failed adhesives on trim. Dashboards suffer a great deal, fan belts break and gaskets and seals need some time to warm up before they begin to work as they should.
Going from a warm 20 to the extreme of -60C on the grill at 60MPH will create some profound problems as well. Rubber is hard and aluminum is brittle so exposing a car to dramatic temperature changes is not without some risk.
Gentle warming and avoiding thermal shock make a big difference in avoiding problems and premature aging.
