So I am driving down the road... Audi 90 with ACC!
When I am cruzing on the freeway and I accelerate, let's say from 60mph to 80mph and my fan is turned all the way down and off displaying no temp, it seems my vents open up letting some air in and then close back up.
Has anybody with ACC experience this before.
Is this normal? Is my car possessed? Did I leave the iron on?
SORRY TO BORE YOU WITH SUCH A STORY, BUT THIS WILL CHEER YOU UP!!
ADVERTISING DOLLAR GENERATES A LOT OF FUNDING. DID YOU EVER WONDER HOW WE ARE PAYING FOR THE IRAQ WAR?!

semi-normal experience
with the ACC off the unit goes into "re-circ" to keep fresh air from coming in. Unlike the rest of the air doors, which are controlled by an electric servo motor, the fresh air/recirculated air door is vacuum operated. when the solenoid (under dash, right side) is activated vacuum is applied and the fresh air intake door is closed. Under heavy acceleration the intake vacuum diappears and the door opens slightly. There may be a check valve for this, and if so yours needs to be replaced, if not i am surprised and perhaps you could add one.
