like it is new. Except for the pinhole leak at the bottom seam. Found a post on Bentley Publishing's site - another guy had the same problem on a B3 - pinhole leak at the seam.
Strange it lasted 13 years, then started to leak. Anyway, it will be repaired soon. Cheapest new tank I could find was $400 at VW Parts.
Sure, I could get a used tank for cheap, but who's to say it wouldn't do the same thing soon? Don't want to have to mess with this again. The repaired tank will be pressure tested to insure there are no other weak spots.
Anyway, just FYI... I guess these tanks CAN leak, even when in super condition. (car now has 62,000 miles on it).
