Keep that silicone FAR away from the 3M mounting tape on those strut bezels bottoms...
which is superior to silicone for sealing those holes anyway as nothing, and I mean NOTHING will adhere to silicone! The bezels were specifically sized to hide/seal solid mount mounting holes and give a surface for the cupped washer to bottom-out against on suspension rebound. Getting the mount bezels to adhere to silicone would be like trying to get them to stick to buttered toast!
With the bezels adhered nothing gets in the holes from above. With the Mount-Savers installed nothing gets in those holes from underneath.

Don't use silicone... Use polyurethane...
I learned from my windshield leaking, that some bonehead used silicone to try to seal it up... well, my windshield had to be removed... body/paint repaired (re-paint entire roof)...re-install windshield with proper polyurethane cement. Evidently silicone reacts with the metal and causes corrosion.
