Someone please tell me knock sensor #1 is interchangeable with #2 (lie if you have to).

Default Someone please tell me knock sensor #1 is interchangeable with #2 (lie if you have to).
I just realized I replaced #1 after my mechanic convinced me that the 5Cyl 20V only had 1 sensor. I just realized (from the forum) that it has 2 and the error code is 2144 that is the second sensor.

I just hope I can use the new sensor in position #2.

I would say if you continue feeling a rough idle or harsh noises while accelerating then that was the wrong decision.
