All right, I've read some threads about the infamous seating setup for a '93 90 with power seats. I have one and I want to install a couple Sparco seats in it for rallying. I've talked to Wedge Engineering and some other place in Virginia that was recommended and both places said to take it in and they would look at it. That's NOT an option since I live in Iowa.
I have a couple connections where I can get some brackets fabbed and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could get plans. Are there plans for brackets that would fit this car? Should I grab some plans for similar seats? Do I just need adapter brackets fabbed? I want as much headroom as possible since my car has a sunroof, I'm nearly 6'7", AND I'll be wearing a helmet.
Thanks!

Easiest way is to make an adapter to go between the power base and Sparco seat. That's what I did to install a Recaro in the CQ (same power base as you car essentially).
Otherwise, you'll want a bolt-in rail from Sparco to give you fore/aft adjustment manually. Your height at that point would likely be fixed.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I don't care about adjusting the height. I just want the seat as low as it can possibly go.
Damnit! I said Recaro, but I meant SPARCO. Duh.
The height adjustment on my power seat is actually broken. :P So I'm leaning toward the bolt-in solution.
Now, I'm using adjustable side mounts for both seats - Part# 00489AN - how does that change things? I'm assuming the sliders are out now and I'm bolting the mounts directly to the base, correct? Also, I can't seem to find any install instructions for the side mounts.
Should I get the universal base and have that modified? Or is it better just to have a base made from scratch? I've got a connection to do the fabbing for cheap so that's not an issue.
Sorry if this is annoying, I'm a newb to this stuff. Thanks again for the help.
