Default Speakers/Head Unit

1993 Audi 90 CSQ. Alright i still have the stock head unit in. I use the cassette deck to play my ipod through. However, when i push the tape in, only the drivers side speakers work, but when the radio is on, all of the speakers work fine. None of the speakers are blown. Any Ideas or suggestions?

Default Clean the cassette deck playback head.

Use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol. The head is the shiny silver thing that the tape itself passes over during playback. It's a good idea to clean all the rollers while you are at it. You could clean the head on the cassette to ipod adapter the same way.

If that doesn't do the trick, there might be a misalignment between the deck head and the adapter head. Most decks have a screw to adjust this somewhere, but it might be easier to tweak the head on the adapter instead.

or get yourself an RF modulated adapter, no need for the tape adapter
