Default Spring experts????

My drivers side spring is all fuged up and you dont need to be an expert to see it.

The problem is it keeps shifting off the upper perch. The part where the top of the spring meets the large spacer before the mount. I can put it back in place but if I turn the steering wheel the spring shifts right back off.

Did I bend the spring compressing it last time I took the assembly apart or did I simply install it upside down. I will take it off tomorrow to inspect further but just wondering if its possible to bend a spring. TIA!

Default I think the spring is bent..

I have the ghetto spring compressors and Iv taken my suspension apart so much its not even fun. I think I recall one time removing one compressor to far and the other not far enough and the spring was really tight on one side and not so tight on the other. That might have bent it. Anyway iv been driving on it like this for at least 2 months I can hear it move back and forth on the perch too when I turn. I am currently waiting for shokan to return my email trying to buy just one spring from them. Just thought id ask about the eiback because they only lower the car an inch.

Back to the subject is it possible to bend a spring or will it just snap? Tomorrow if it dont rain I will take it all apart and see whats up. I really think its bent or install upside down.
