Default Start problem (LONG TERM ISSUE) on CQ Turns over but slow to fire!

HELP: This is an issue that my mechanics are duped by. My car was having problems over the past 2 years (Would not FIRE when hot with lots of good crank power but no fire. They keep replacing the Distributor citing the Hall sensor as an issue. I am on my 3rd distributor now. The problem seems to get better for 3-6 months and returns. NOW it wont fire sometimes when just running the engine for a few minutes and trying to start again. It always starts good when cold in the morning. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds with the key turned to fire and other times it is fine. Any ideas?

Could be leaky injectors. Mine did the same thing. Replaced them with 034's kit and voila...problem solved. Have you tried to pull codes yet. Might be something there.

For the 1st time yesterday my "check engine" light came on while driving so perhaps the codes will tell us something. My power seems a bit low as well (Car is slow however I have been coming from driving my UR S6) so leaky injectors might just be the ticket? Would new injectors give me a definate boost in power?

Well the 034 kit will. It will give you better power through the mid-range and be alot smoother power. So I would say yes. I put them in and noticed a great deal more power through that range and smooth to. Yeah if the engine light came on there is definately a code there. Go to 20v.org and look up the fault codes once you pull the codes from your car. Easier to narrow it down doing that.
