Default starter woes on my 90q. turn the switch and 50% of the time it doesn't turn over..
so I have to flick back and forth a few times to get it to start. It sounds like the relay clicks when I turn the key but the starter doesn't turn. I figure if it was a bad ground or wire it would not turn at all. Any ideas? The starter is fairly new.

Ignition switch is on it's way out. Did samething on my ladies 90 sedan.

Default Any idea how to remove that set screw covered in red paint? Is it a small flathead?
I can't really see very well into there.

Default Definitely not ignition switch. Replaced it, problem remains. Also, the old switch looked good.
I took it apart and all the contacts and such were in good shape. Hmm... any other ideas?

For completeness, the problem was a corroded ground connection.
