Default Steering Rack?

I'm having problems with my steering lately, I noticed it about a month age when going around a fairly sharp bend in the road. Handling was completely normal until suddenly my steering shifted around the apex of the bend. It was a quite unsettling, but did not cause me to loose my path or anything. Now I've noticed a pretty good clunk at times when I'm at a stop ane I start turning the wheel. Recently I inspected my outer tie rods and all of the suspension components around the hub area and they seem fine. This leaves me with 2 possibilities, inner tie rods or a shot steering rack. I was wondering if anyone can explain(technically) what's going on with the steering rack if it is the likely suspect. If not what else should I consider?
Thank ya!
Marty

Default Mine started groaning although fluid is at level(thing to check)

Turning wheels when at complete stop is generally not recommended. There's not a whole lot that can go wrong with inner part-tie rod has a hole with bushing in it attached to bracket by self lockers that is itself attached to rack.I doubt those bushings could be worn that bad.How about a-arm bushings?

Default I guess that's possible

(A-Arm bushings)
I should also clarify though now every time I go around a bend in the road I have the problem with the steering shifting. It's a little scary since it's gotten more noticable lately, makes me think I'd better figure it out quick.
-Could the A-Arm bushings cause that kind of problem?
Thanks!
