Installing a new hu for temporary use until I can add my own amp, etc. I am wiring the harness and have some questions because I am always more than a little skittish on certain wires. I am using the Scosche VW01B harness. Do I connect the speaker wires? I know there is an amp somewhere- was formerly running the Concert gamma stereo. Do I connect all speaker wires and the remote? Also, how about the ACC/ignition connection?

Are you sure this isn't a system with amps buolt into the speakers at the rear? Because if it is you'll want to bypass those amps for sure, much better to take the originals out and put in whole new speakers.

Here is the deal:
I am leaving for a road trip tomorrow and will not have time to do a full install incl. amp, etc. I have no HU that is set up and have an aftermarket head unit that I need to install.I need to have the current speakers until tomorrow night, then I can do the amp, speakers, etc. I need to know what is meant by the "K-line" (diagnostic?) that I have to cut, including its color and which harness. I also need to know if I will damage my HU due to shared speaker grounds, etc., and whether to conect the Remote wire. Any ideas? thanks!

Don't hook up the rear speakers! The function of the wires is printed on the oem HU.
