Default sticking caliper

The rear left caliper is sticking, causing a horrid grinding sound and eventual burning smell. Is there something I can do make it function properly or am I going to have to purchase a new set of calipers?

Default Probably needs to be replaced! ;O)

The sticking is normally caused by its internals rusting. Normally its the parking brake mechanism
which goes & takes the rest of the caliper with it.

Default i was able to free mine up a couple of months ago.

and they've been working great ever since. even my handbrake works, whereas before if someone ever used it, it would cease up both rear calipers so bad, that i couldn't drive until i got under the car and physically hammered the e-brake cams back to their stops! follow the directions on 20v.org.
