Stock to New Stereo! What needs to be done to switch?

Default Stock to New Stereo! What needs to be done to switch?
I know that they dont use wiring of the stock stereo! Please Correct me if I am wrong!

If rewiring needs to be doen how hard is it to do ( For someone who had never done anything like that )!
Should I just let profesionals at the Audio store do the rewiring and instal the deck?

Default If you get your radio from crutchfield they usually give you a harness adapter.. I know
they gave me one when I got my kenwood from them.. directions and all.. very easy

Use "real" RCA cords instead of cheap wire.

Default VW/audi adaptors can be bought from best buy or other shops
wiring is simple.

4 speakers, power, ground, antenna, dim (if you want), and remote (for a amp)

Default get better RCA and keep it further away from power wires
although the whole RCA is bad close with power wire is a myth....
