Default Stock Wheels

i ordered the griot's garage wheel restoration kit which came with primer, silver paint and, clear. here's the wheels sitting in the garage after bead blasting, and the primer. right after i ordered the kit from griot's i came across satin black wheel paint from eastwood of which i ordered three cans. now im wondering how i should paint these since i have a few options. i could go all silver, i could go all black, or i could do the spokes black, and use the silver to do the outer lip, or maybe that would just look ghetto? anyway, i figured i would post and get some opinions or ideas, thanks

Default hhmm..black will show more imperfections in the wheel..and also..

if u havent primered them already SCUFF THEM! use a scotch brite pad(get em for dirt cheap at auto stores) to scuff them up lightly so the primer will adhere better..dont use sandpaper tho itll be to abrasive..as far as spray painting..be cautious..if u apply that stuff to wet itll chip faster then it dried...black will show more..but i dunno how painted wheels will come out..might look kool if u get a good scheme..good luck

too late for that, already primered, but thanks for the tip. they were blasted with a glass bead/aluminum oxide combo, which should have been a little more abrasive than just glass, so i think they'll be alright.

Default Keep 'em stock IMO!...I have seen the spokes painted black with the lip polished...

...although unless they're on a black car, it wouldn't look quite right. Once again IMO of course.
