last summer my car was in an accident, we had to get a new timing belt and steering wheel pump, ever since then i been hearing a squeeking sound, and i really hate it bcuz it makes my car sound like a 1988 honda accord * ****ty sound*
makes it sound like junk, i read sum posts and they said if u give it time it will go away bcuz its a new timing belt, but im not all too sure where its from, altho it must be from there
is there a way to losen the belt up a bit? or wut??
cuz i absolutly do not like that sound
let me know please
and lots of thanks

usually it stops after a bit cause ruber is a non-stable material but if it still makes the sound after 2 or 3 weeks, loose the timing belt by changing the the water pump position. if you don't know how to do it, ask Miktip he has probably some pics that can help you
good luck

be able to sqeeze the belt more than 1cm but I'm not sure, it's more of a feeling question, you'll notice the diffrence of the sound so use your head and you'll get good result

and then move the water pump down to loose timing belt then when you will be able, with a reasonable strenght, to turn the timing belt no more than 1/4 of a turn
