When I got my car, the sunroof cables were all chewed up. I've replaced the motor, the relay, the switch, and even the whole assembly. Here's the symptom:
With sunroof closed, I push the switch forward, the sunroof goes to vent. If I press forward again, the motor keeps going and will grind the cables (I've tested this with the motor not engaged with the cables to prevent grinding them). Like I said, I've replaced everything I thought could cause this, and it still does it. I find it hard to believe that it did this from the factory. I don't want to grind the cables on this new sunroof assembly, so any help would be appreciated.

in my 90, if you were to push the back button once, it'd go back a little bit, and if you hit it again, it'd go back all the way on its own...im just wondering if in yours this is backwards so if you push it forwards twice it goes on its own?
thats all i got.
sorry lol
