Default Bad solders are pretty common on the cluster but I didn't think they were in the Tach

circuitry

Default Mine reads high and then goes back down to normal randomly. Clutch is fine.

It will read 500-700rpm higher than normal and than after a couple minutes it will go back down to normal indications. I think it just needs some soldering back there or one or more of the pin contacts that connect the tach to the circuit board are loose.

Default my tach sometimes works and others not, auto check says "OK" every

15seconds when headlights are on and beeps too, but usually stops when tach stops working.

Default See, mine has to be an issue in the cluster, as tapping the cluster springs in back immediately...

it's as if someone flips an off switch.
