Temperature Control Problems
My A/C compressor is not working. I checked the power coming to the compressor and there is no power going there. Also my heat is not blowing hot air. Is there a common problem electrically with the temperature control unit? Any help would be great. My car is a 1995 Audi 90 Quattro.

Common electrical problem? Yep,
the whole damn thing. It's probably the crapiest system on these cars.
The temp control head has codes that will tell you whats pissing it off. Get a Bentley it's the only way you will be able to get to the codes, figure out what they mean and then go fix them. It could be as simple as a vacuum leak or as bad as the entire control module has bit the dust.

Here you go sir...

Once you figure out how to cycle through the codes, it's actually a pretty slick debugging tool.
For instance, in troubleshooting my system, the climate control reported almost all codes from 13.1 to 13.7. It was pretty obvious that there was something wrong with my footwell/defroster flap motor. I have yet to replace it, since it's essentially the same process at replacing my heater core, but... someday.
