Is there any market for a fiberglass or carbon fiber B3 hood?

I took out the [broken] AC on my old VW Dasher, but it was fine there because it had vent windows, so the accelerator made for a fine climate control device.

put some legal tint, plus you also have grey interior. I have black leather and its usually in upper 80's and 90's in Chicago, starting now throughout the summer....I'll see how I handle it. I just took it out couple weeks ago but my car's been on jack stands ever since:-)

Came in at just over 40 lbs, and with the smaller Optima battery now in the trunk i find the front end sits about the same as the rear (front used to sit a bit lower than the rear). I would be interested in a fiberglass or CF hood.

But the few days you need it, it sure is nice. Same reason I keep the heated leather instead of putting in racing seats.

By making a B3 FG or CF hood you'd be cutting out all of the B4's. No B4 owners in their right mind will swap to a B3 hood, but B3 owners usually jump at the chance to do the conversion. So if your looking into what market too target, I'd suggest B4's from a profit stand point of view.
