three spoke wheel in a coupe q?
I've Searched the archives, but did not see what's needed to install the S6/96-98 A4 steering wheel in a Coupe AND retain the rear washer AND autocheck functions...
Anyone?

I have that same wheel in my car...
...I luckily had one of the rare CQs that was a transition model that came out just before the airbag edition, but still had the computer controls on the steering column. So, all I had to do was pull the old wheel off and throw the S2 3-spoke on. Looks great and the horn works beautifully! I heard that is the main problem with the airbag models...no functional horn.

I like to have one, too.
Unfortunately, in searching the archives, even with Google advanced search, the info is not terribly forthcoming.
I *think* I know what stuff is required for a B3.
Sport wheel (the part number and vehicle year range is easily found.)
Adapter (part number also easily found.)
Clockspring (should come with wheel)
Column covers from a B4 car.
Column switchgear (can't find proper part numbers/part numbers questionable)
For a car with the computer, a switch from a B4 to do the work of the column stalk computer switch. (Also easily found).
If there is a post that details the whole process, I have not found it after several hours of searching.
For the rear window wash, I actually have an idea that involves a momentary-on switch that will get the job done.
