Default Tire Barn jacked up my car from the middle of the rear tires like it was a truck

Why did they do that? I don't know if it could have bent that brace (its not really called an axle, is it?) that the shocks hook onto. Is this the thing that was bent on your car Mr. Tip? Its on my 88 90, but it just like the 93 90s, I belive.

Yes, its very possible to bend the rear axle by jacking the car, via the rear axle.

Default avoid all places with barn in their name

a place called tire barn probably has people working that dont have a clue how to do anything with specialty cars like a 90, they are used to trucks, pos's and the like. I doubt bubba has heard of a audi, yet alone how to jack it up correct without damaging things.
what irks me is when you need a tire change and they take your nice rims and just "chuck" them onto the changer...its like wtf, those rims are expensive, take a bit more care geesh. Nothing worse then some idiot treating your nice alloys like they are some plain steel work truck rim thats already beat the hell.

Default and those weights they clamp on the rims is not right either

stick on weights were on it before, my poor BBS rims. I just didn't want to be at that place anymore to have them change them to stick ons. I just paid and left, but after hearing about the axel thing. I'm thinking maybe they are responsible for any damage. Mr. T, was it noticeable driving the car that the axel was bent, or what do I look for now?

fyi Those in the know will think hmm fwd 90 with BBS rims? Well the old owner was a race car driver/ car dealer and likes good car things, so he got them off a 20v 90. He races a Lola car. I don't know what those cars are but he was excited and showed me pics.

Default i hear that

i can't decide if clamp or stick on weights are better...i've had both. my rims had stick ons that they moved and whats left is this very hard glue/paper that just will not come off. i scrubbed it with castrol superclean, just wont come off and i dont want to gouge up my rim with a scraper. guess atleast clamp ones on the inside are decent, outside horrid....thats potholes for ya, without those your rim would stay true.
